One of my goals for 2021 was get published/featured and here we are with the first feature of the year. I personally have always loved The Portrait Project and truly looked up to the work featured on their Instagram page.
This particular shoot was about celebrating gender fluidity while playing with a HUGE rack of wedding gowns I had coming to the studio that day. I knew after seeing Harry Style's Cover shoot for Vogue I needed my male model to be wearing the wedding dresses as well. I needed to prove, after all the backlash the Vogue spread got, that masculinity is not defined by what you wear or what you even look like. It's who you are and it'll come through regardless of what you wear.
Excited to create more work like this in the coming year. Make sure to follow along because I have more coming soon!
